The heat wave continues in Montreal
Mr D. and i went to Quartier Latin to see a show at St-Denis Theatre which is located on St-Denis Street
St-Denis streets is one of the hipster neighborhoods in Montreal
You will find trendy shops, and restaurants

I thrifted this coat about 2 months ago for a ridiculous $9
We went and see one of Quebec's best humorist at Theatre St-Denis
Big disappointment, not funny at all
It was his first show in 11 years
This humorist has been around for a while.
He turned actor, producer and is very good at it
If you can get a movie called Bon Cop Bad Cop - watch it - it is really good - shows the clash between the 2 cultures , french and english - Quebec and Ontario
But his show i last night...ummmm...
Quebec has a huge love history with its humorists
They are the equivalent of a famous soccer- football player
We love our humorists so much that we have a festival in the summer called Just for Laugh

Another great outfit, Ariane! I love that pink jacket. Pairing it with the silver leggings was such a good thing to do.
So sad that the show wasn't funny. I hate seeing people trying and failing to be funny. It always makes me embarrassed for them.
A humorist who is not very funny is so . . . not funny : < But you look fabulous, and I am loving your hair growing out a bit!
For many years my husband and I liked to attend comedy shows and then gradually they came to seem so sexist to me. I have been seeing this hot pink color everywhere in the posts I have been reading tonight--so it is a color I will be searching for in the thrifts, though I doubt I will be so lucky as to find a jacket like this. I especially like the silver leggings!

I was in Montreal once when the comedy festival was happening. I was amazed.

The pink jacket is FANTASTIC! I have been to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival several times and one day I would love to go to Edinburgh... comedy can be so hit or miss.
