Twice Is Good

Happy Valentine Day Dearests!

I made it this week at Visible Monday, check the blog out!

Today i am posting 2 outfits

The first outfit is a vintage dress that i thrifted at a shop called La Gaillarde.

I took me 2 visits to finally purchased the dress, i bought it  because it was half price.
It needed a bit of mending.

I had my seamstress fix the zipper, saw up again the sides and fix seams that had come unstitched.

Total cost $14 ( dress and seamstress)

I am wearing the dress with my new Doc Martens

New haircut - Going for a bob- It is a start

Winter- Summer - Why wait? - I wanted to wear that skirt

I am proud to be part of it - I only saw a handful of North Americans-Yeah! Canada!!

Plus a victory for the over fifty crowd!
I am 51 for you guys who don't know.

They published 2 of my pics

So cool! I was once featured in the paper and on 2 commercials. ;)
Now I'd take being in a magazine over those things.
Your hair looks adorable!

I just knew that orange frock was going to be special! It looks amazing on you, so pleased you got it fixed up.
And the orange skirt is a colourful delight, especially with the flowers on your sweater. Vix will adore that little leather waistcoat.
Congratulations on the magazine feature - yay for wonderful creative women in their prime! xxxxxxx

How cool that you're in a magazine. It's only right that you're in a magazine, you're a natural born star!
Love to you on Valentine's day, you gorgeous lady! xxxx

I love, love, love your orange vintage dress! And the way you paired it with the eggplant tights. All, of course, headlight that edgy, fantastic hairstyle. And the pastel purple nails. You really know your colours! And the second outfit is in green and orange, a fave colour combination. The medallion pendant is so perfect with this outfit. Of course, congrats on being scouted by the magazine. Superbe.

your outfits are always so fresh and bright!! If I dared to wear my hair so short I would take a photo of you to the hairdresser and would say; I want that haircut!! But I don't dare to cut it!! :)

You are cool and you now have a magazine to prove it! How neat is that? Congratulations.
Love your looks and your hair. If I see the color correctly, it looks like one of the colors I had put in my hair (a deep purply red)
